Standard compact lockout devices are not suitable for these breakers — the BD-D16L's larger body geometry provides the clamping depth and coverage required for secure lockout.
2Do I need any tools to install the BD-D16L?
No tools are required. The BD-D16L features a built-in locking screw that can be fully hand-tightened. Once the device is placed over the circuit breaker handle and the screw is tightened, simply apply your safety padlock to complete the lockout. The screw head automatically recesses into the base of the device to prevent unauthorized access.
3What size padlock is compatible with the BD-D16L?
